Karma is like air, whether you see it or not, it does what it's supposed to. It's nothing but a metaphysical metaphor of Newton's Third Law: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction or you can also say, what goes around comes around.
And, It comes around at the right moment, through the right person from whom we will understand and evolve more deeply. It can be your guru, mentee, friend, foe, companion, etc.,
The beauty of karma is that it's such a compassionate teacher, it will never give up on you until you learn and grow from your mistakes.
There are few who know this secret of karma and they flow with its laws and don't go against it, those are known as authentic, virtuous, ethical, moral, etc. Sometimes, I feel envious and pity when I see people make mistakes without knowing the consequences. For them, ignorance is bliss in the present moment but a curse in future moments, while for people who are wise, it is vice versa.
Everyone is privileged to encounter this perfect teacher in the perfect moment, wait patiently for your turn and whenever it nears you, embrace it and evolve.
